In partnership with the Department of Public Works and Highways-Isabela Third District Engineering Office (DPWH-ITDEO), the Department of Education (DepEd) has helped finish 36 school establishment projects for the students of the area.
According to District Engineer Editha C. Babaran, the newly-built buildings serve as the display of the government’s strong support of the country’s education sector.
Babaran also mentioned that they hope these completed projects can be useful for the growing enrollees of the schools, namely:
Sto. Niño Integrated School, Bagong Sikat Elementary School – Annex 1, Dingading Integrated School, Bonifacio Elementary School, Alicia National High School, San Guillermo Vocational and Industrial School, Caloocan Elementary School, and Reina Mercedes Vocational and Industrial School.
These 14 one-storey, 11 two-storey, five three-storey, and six four-storey constructions were funded by DepEd’s 2016 Basic Educational Facilities Fund (BEFF).
